Good on you Marty it's a pearler - maybe it's the salmon shirt that attracts the cats   best stick with blue....the chick at the end looked a tad familiar though.

I can't say much about performance, I usually come first..at the other end.

You didn't falter on the memory part of it Marty, a confident delivery and you looked at the audience.
I would prefer a more straight on camera shot, but that's not your doing. Next time, if possible I'd ask them to get up a bit higher and to the front.

Now you have to bite the bullet Marty and on the side ask someone experienced for a critique.

Neville I can't remember the names of the people that did the filming. They are a couple that enjoy bush poetry and go to a lot of the events and voluntarily film the performances and give the performees have a copy if they want a copy, to help improve their acts. Unfortunately at Crookwell, the performers were high up on the stage - and the only choice was to film from below.

Now that was a lot better then to up close and personnel one Marty. Remember you can get just as many laughs by your actions as by the words you are saying. I reckon you could milk it a bit more.

Good onya mate.

That was some blind sheila at the end ?????

I add my God bless them too,

I received my copy of my four poem performances, It is the first time I have seen myself 'on film'.

Thank you to Margaret and Harold. It is very good to see how I come across. My diction is clear but I don't speak loudly enough and I don't gesticulate adequately. I was very pleased to see that I was pretty close to word perfect in all four poems. It is great to have something to work from or to..... oh you know what I mean.

Meanwhile back to the festival. I am still suffering with this XX!!@@** neck/shoulder pain. I had a few duties to perform today. Tomorrow only the poets breakfast. Then I am free for the rest of the day.

My Ukulele group 'knocked em dead' we had the artistic director of Illawarra and Kangaroo Valley festivals (both of them) come in to see what we were like and both stayed for some time and even joined in the sing along fun. The crowd (and we did get a crowd) loved us . I am over the moon.

The Kangaroo Valley director came up to me today and said we should apply for Kangaroo
valley festival.

Zondrae, did you say XX!!@@** ? I am shocked!

Just as a matter of interest, has the neck pain started since you started playing the ukulele? Sounds like your group is going well.
