Kaikoura

The sperm whale is a mighty beast - to wit, this fact attests;
He dives for ninety minutes, then he surfaces and rests.
He breathes out all his CO2 and breathes in oxygen,
Then arches up his spiny back, and does it all again.

The dusky dolphin's rather small - he's agile, nimble, fast.
He causes great excitement as he swiftly rockets past.
He dives beneath the surging bow, then leaps into the air,
Living 'here and now' as though he doesn't have a care.

The human is a clever chap. He takes a holiday
To view the whales and dolphins in a boat out on the bay.
The whales and dolphins aren't so smart - though clever to the brim.
They never take a holiday to have a look at him!
