Very nicely encapsulated Dennis - I take it you had first hand experience, certainly reads that way- this would be great set up as a video clip and recited over a photo montage to show the devastation to a generation that weren't even born then. Good work IMO and I especially liked Stumps and Floorboards - make do and mend. Recycling at its best.

Thanks Maureen. I got there a week after with the Army and stayed for two months.
I went up there to live 10 months later. Later I bought a block that
had only stumps and floor boards left on it.
