Brassica
I've just learnt a brand new word: 'brassica'.
(Think of the Great Cabbage Massacre)
Not to forget Brussel sprouts,
Which clear out the house hereabouts.
Then there's the fine cauliflower.
(Give thanks for its virtuous power.)
What better fun than a spree
Of gorging on steamed broccoli?
Better by far than hot chips,
Dozens of hot roasted turnips,
And I'd rather have all me limbs busted
Than live out me life without mustard.
Stems, roots and seeds you can eat,
And all of it's like a great treat.
From Fiji to far off Alasicca,
Ev'ryone gobbles up brassica!

Re: Brassica
And Stephen you would know the Medical properties of,
A nice sandwich of ham and mustard,
Or perhaps a sweet bowl of apple and custard.
