Very deep Manfred. There's a lot in there to think about. I like it.

Actually, have I heard you sing this? At Maureen's or Tamworth? I've heard it before as a poem or song somewhere.

Heather :)

I think he tried to sing it to us outside the tent at Tamworth after he had had a few tastes of firewater, and he had my new hat on.

You can see by his lips he's about to say MEEK athara.

On the poem,
I suppose there are some young people who rebel and in the end still are held by family ties and home. What reactions have you had to this one Manfred, if you have performed it that is, anybody who said, yeah I know how it is ?

Thank you Mausie, Nevvie & Heather ... That's one of my 'bad boy - rebel' songs. A bit bluesy. You picked it Nev, a couple of blokes have said that ... :)

Nothing wrong with Meekatharra, Manfred,
we had a passable counter lunch there as we passed through, a few weeks ago.

They even have a Woolies or is it Coles?, not sure now.

Like Neville I can hear the tune, and I too remember that hat as well.

Hope to catch up with you again next year, might even get to sip a nip or two with you as well.

Cheers Terry
