My old bushie Dad was a sod with donation seekers. One rattled his door knob one day collecting for the 'speech & hearing impaired'. This bloke waved his arms around & pointed here & there indicating his requirement, without the aid of speech. Dad responded likewise...& turned his pockets completely inside out & shook his head. The disgruntled 'collector' mumbled something about *"@^ 'body parts' as he waddled away & Dad coo-eed out & *"@^ you too!

Then take care of the naughty typos in your piece.
The various solicitors don't bother me at all. If someone calls , wanting to sell me a doctrine I don't want, I just say NO. If someone asks for donations, and I am not going to give, I just say NO.
I continue on and put them out of my mind. No problems. No worries , no angst.
They can ask a thousand times, I can say NO a thousand times, that's easily done. Doesn't phase me at all.
