Just something I was trying Jim. To write a poem with just four letters in every word. I found it hard. I've changed the title

Marty, have and love are not exact rhymes, but rhymes nevertheless.

If you want the full bit Bob, words like have and love , even and given, short and hurt are technically called slant rhymes. As far as I can find out, there are no right and wrong or good and bad rhymes, only different types of rhymes, which writers choose as their preference takes them.

Not in my book Nev it either Perfectly rhymes or it does not.

Slanted sideways upside down reverse or slight attempts at rhymes, just do not cut the muster.
