" Forgiveness" is our latest topic for our local writers group

I found it very hard, abstract.

I based my poem ( a triolet ) on the lines from the Lord's Prayer
" Forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors "


FORGIVENESS

By grace we find forgiveness,
where grace in us is found.
Our deeds will stand as witness,
for grace to work forgiveness.
The debts we owe are countless;
why hold our debtors bound ?
By grace we give forgiveness,
and grace for us is found.
