NO PERMEATE MATE
Have you noticed lately, milk is minus Permeate,
like lead in paint and petrol, Permeate is out of date,
wonder where they left it, perhaps at the farm gate.
Is this why dairy farmers, right throughout the State
are going broke at rate of knots, a topic of debate.
Those in the know, know Permeate IS left at the farm,
milk without it’s less processed but, does us all no harm,
even with it left in milk there’s no cause for alarm.
Protestors therefore call a halt, the time’s come to disarm,
seems to me the issue is a smart retailing smarm.
So, Clarabelle and Daisy, your teats will still create
milk of finest quality that looks and tastes just great,
forget the spin of marketers, their ploy conveys no weight,
and anyone who gets a bug from something that you ate,
accept that for a cause, you can’t blame Permeate.

Re: NO PERMEATE MATE
Good one Jeff.
A Coles spokesman said: "Coles brand milk is made to the same high standards as branded milk lines, and in no way has the quality of our milk been altered as a result of our milk price cuts in January 2011." What they didn't say is whether their milk was permeated before the price cuts.
Anyway I'm not bothered one way or the other as there are no known health risks associated with it. It all taste good to me.

G'day Wazza
Same goes for me mate. It's all been a storm in a teacup over something which hasn't tasted any different.
Cheers, Jeff
