Fullstop after springtime perhaps?
Way to go Marty - when we can't change things we need to move on and have faith in ourselves Every step we take the road gets a little easier, which is good because it's a bloody hard row to hoe initially.
Good to see you writing again Mate - keep them coming.
Cheers
Maureen

I applaud your determination to get it out in verse. A former colleague of mine has written a book ! after debilitating experiences. He reckons it's a form of therapy to write, and according to him, it works.
On the poetry side, I'll stick my neck out ( again ) I think that showing works much better than telling in these sort of themes. I suggest you look up Fern Hill, a poem by Dylan Thomas ( it's on the web ) try and persevere, it's not an easy one to come to grips with , but it a masterpiece of showing his painful feelings and memories of a happy time, now lost.
Please take my comment in the spirit it is given, I mean to encourage. Keep up the
" poeing " work, something good should come from it.

Hi Marty ... sounds as if you've had more than your share of tough. Certainly well expressed through your verse.
Was writing that helpful? Not always easy to turn around and tell the world to p... off. Good luck.
