Feel the love - 8x

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Fri Jul 19, 2013 6:11 pm

Queenslanders like their footy
Queenslanders like their beer
Most Queenslanders love XXXX
a drink that brings good cheer.
And ‘cause we won the Origin
a win eight out of eight
The brewery bought out eight X
gotta love this Sunshine state.

Personally approved by Darren Lockyer – if our guys keep this up we will have to introduce bigger cans

Maureen

I can see the slogans now:

8x is twice as strong as 4x, gets you drunk in half the time - drowns your sorrows twice as quickly. Maybe that's the way they'd market it south of the border here in NSW anyway

Just For You Nev

STATE OF ORIGIN
THE END

When you see them walking in the street
they wear a mournful frown,
they'll never look you in the eye
they shuffle at the ground.

Their shoulders they slump forward
their face turns a pallid green.
The sight is oh so pitiful
the worst you've ever seen.

What is this strange disease you ask
that it can infect a person so
and why is it so selective
well I'm sure you want to know.

For if you check their place of birth
you'll find the strangest thing
cause they all come from New South Wales
and the Queenslands had a

WIN
The purpose in life is to have fun.
After you grasp that everything else seems insignificant !!!
