Piscatorial Pursuit
Hey!
Weather man please help me.
Give me some good news.
You see I’ve got a rotten case
of wild and wind swept blues
My piscatorial pursuits
have been light on this year
‘cause weekend weather’s been as crook
as pommy’s luke-warm beer.
I check the BOM on-line report
at least three times a day,
comparing it to Seabreeze,
just hoping it will say,
the weather’s fine; the winds are light.;
barometer is rising.
No storms about, the swell is small;
the water temp’s surprising
-ly better than it’s been for days;
much warmer than expected.
Don’t want the fish to fret
Or start to feel that they’re neglected
So weather man, please listen
to what I have to say.
Your forecast’s all I think about
each night and every day.
Come on now mate. I’m begging.
I need you to assist
my journey back to glassed out seas
before I get real (angry).
