The Struggle

The plethora of arcana brought a stigma on his race
a vendetta slowly building to handle the disgrace.
The media played on rumours like a melodramatic play
most were keen to criticise, revel in such disarray.

Hate and violence festered in this miasma atmosphere
the bravura of his actions helped to stem the rising fear.
The struggle would continue as there was no end in sight
but history will show with time he fought for what was right.
