Teef!

I’ve just had a toof out,
and now my mouf hurts.
I cannot talk pwoper,
just mumbles and bwurts.
I had an injection
that made my mouf numb,
and now where my toof was
is nuffing but gum.
I cannot eat sumfing
too cold or too hot,
in case I start bweeding
where my toof is not.
My dentist must love me,
despite all my gwief…
he’s making a fortune
from my bwoody teef!

You poor love - it's a terrible feeling - but look on the positive side your dentist has now been able to afford the next payment on his BMW

There there, you poor dear! It's all over now.

David, for me the worst part is when the effects of the anaesthetic is wearing off and the tingling begins in the lips and gum. That's when I want to chew the heck out of it.

Ah, I can feel the sympathy. And I don't know about changing the world with poetry, but writing a few lines for fun sure cheers me up!

A tooth A tooth he says


try 13 at once that will test ya

I started writing about it but still to finish.

Mate I had this massive tooth ache
was playing drums inside my head
The pain was near ten out of ten
so i made that call I dread.

Now i hate going to the dentist
the thought near drives me into tears
those bloody great big needles
brings out my greatest fears.

I sat there in the foyer
working up into a state
the dentist has some problems
and he is running really late.

You can hear every sound from inside
I was squirming in my chair
it sounds like dammed jackhammer
is going off in there.

You can come in now mr pacey
the young girl was so sweet
I was sure that she would notice
the water puddle at my feet.

I climbed into the dentist chair
they put this bib around me neck
then they stuck these glasses on me
I though holy bloody heck.

...The dentist doesn't hurt much in the chair, its at the desk on the way out the pain sets in!...

The first time I went I thought the assistant was trying to crack on when she kept tapping my hand
