She took my bloody money
and she took my bloody life.
She took my super savings
and caused me all that strife.

She stole my self esteem
then made my name like mud.
But those who really knew me
told me she was a dud.

It took a while to start again
but I'm a tough old bandicoot.
I don't care what folk think of me
I just could not give a hoot.

So I dragged myself out of the grime
and became me again.
The bloke I was before I married
and got flushed down the drain.

I take no crap from anyone
and I say just what I think.
I go fishing when I want to
and when I want I have a drink.

Now I'm not saying life is perfect
but at least I've got one now.
I only need some milk just now and then
so I don't need to buy a cow.
