Raindrops

Softly and gently the rain drops are

falling.

The air is alive with the sound

The drops hit the brown earth in a living

crescendo

wet circles all over the ground.

The frogs start to sing in their static

refrain

the joy in their song is so clear.

It’s been dry for so long that natures

rejoicing

for now the wet season is here.

That is really lovely Bob - a little different from your usual writes with a softer gentler feel to it. I like it a lot. :)

Lovely Bob - simple yet so descriptive. Brings back so many memories to me of the wet season arriving in the Territory x
