Very good, very good. :)

p.s. you can keep your Leonard Cohen, and I won't be known as bold.

That is lovely, Heather. I know when we take off on our journey, those thoughts will be travelling with me.

Like Neville, I am not sure I will have a Leonard Cohen CD playing in the car

Oh you people! Have you not heard Hallelujah or Susanne or Dance Me To The End of Time? Leonard may not be the best vocalist in the world but my goodness he can write lyrics and put a tune together and if you listen to The Essential Leonard Cohen you will hear that he can sing too. :)

Thanks Allan. It was a wet, misty old afternoon perfect for poing. I went through my little bank of one lines just sitting there, patiently waiting for such an afternoon so that they could grow into something more. I found a line where I had started to muck about and the conversation we'd had earlier prodded me because that was exactly what my line was about. So thanks for that :)

Glad you like it Maureen. The moons have to be aligned for me to write but when it happens it is such fun. :D I'm also working on a book, so when there's spare time, words are the thing I need to escape from.

Heather :)

Yes I like that - very "spread your wings and fly away".

Like a bird on a wire - love the Cassar-Daley (with Jim Barnes) version more than Cohen.
