BLACK MAGIC

BLACK MAGIC
It's blacker than the darkest night
and casts a tempting magic spell.
See how it glides along, as smooth
as serpents from the pit of hell.
With supple, gleaming, plastic sheen,
yet soft with fragrant yielding heart.
Who can resist it's pungent tang,
at once so sweet and earthy tart.
Experience will prove
it's mystic power to move.
mmmm.......licorice.

G'day Neville,
I thought you had some kind of new, darker than dark chocolate. Oh well licorice will have to do. It's my hubbies favourite.

Thanks for the replies ladies. ( notice I didn't say sheilas, Manfred )
It isn't much, just a practice that I set myself to try and describe something that I thought was quite difficult to put into words.
Did you know ladies that the main ingredients of that slinky black confection are wheat flour and molasses.

Does Marty mean beetroot? Or perhaps he is thinking of sarsparilla - that's made from a root isn't it?
Bob, behave!
