Not a bad show, apart form Pixies maniacal laugh. I have trouble thinking of a bloke as "Pixie" irregardles of vertical challenges.

Thanks Mausie, Mal ..... was a bit rough but should get better ... :D

Dave, you'll need to listen in via the 'net' ... Go to the 989FM Website ...

http://www.989fm.com.au/

and click on the "Live Streaming" box. It will ask, "Choose which format you’d like to listen with. Click on, Windows Media Player. The Media player will pop up and you can then hear it through your speakers (or earphones) ... Try it now as a practice run. Let me know how you get on.

It uses about 28 -40 mb an hour Dave - I listen to 98.9 all the time via the computer and haven't noticed my usage being throttled because of it.

That is just through the little speakers I have on my computer - if you were broadcasting through a huge stereo set up it might be more??? There is a graph thingy somewhere in your system that tells you exactly how much anything is drawing at any given time - somewhere in your control box. Click on start - type in perfmon then enter. Then click onto resource monitor and a little green line should show up on a graph sheet.

IT SHOULD OPEN A BOX TITLED SEARCH PROGRAM AND FILES - if not click Start and go into the control panel, then click onto Performance information and tools and then click onto advanced tools - that should give a little menu one of which is open resource monitor and there you have it.

G'day Maureen, BTW my comp is windows XP professional, I went into control panel but could not see anything/button,icon relating to " Performance information and tools " there is a tool button at the top of the page but again could not see anything there relating to "Performance information and tools" I might leave it, last time I "played around" it cost me $300 for the tech to fix my computer. :D :D
