GOSFORD BUSH POETS


The Gosford Bush Poets meet for another night of fun, fine poetry and lots of camaraderie at 7pm next Wednesday night (29/8) at the Gosford Hotel, Mann Street, Gosford.

We certainly hope that you and your friends will be able to join us for what is always a grand night. We shan't be having a guest artist which means we should all have an opportunity of presenting two items during the night and as I always say these are the evenings when we get to thoroughly enjoy the wonderful talents of our members.

Congratulations to my co-pilot Peter Mace on his success in the North Pine Poetry Competition and we understand he and Anita intend to return from Queensland in the nick of time to be able to share the night with us.

Not a lot more to report today apart from I made a serious omission in not reminding everyone that the Gosford Bush Poets had their seventh birthday in June and that we are now into our eighth year of sharing our poetry. verse, music and friendship with all of those wonderful people who have attended and still attend our regular monthly meetings.
It has been a wonderful seven years and with your help and support we look forward to continuing to promoting an appreciation and enjoyment of poetry on the Central Coast.

Entrance as always is entirely free and we would dearly love to see you join us for dinner in the hotel's brilliant bistro from about 5.30pm onwards before the fun starts upstairs at 7pm.
