ABPA - Australian Bush Poets Association

I am heading down on Friday 2nd March..I have it on good authority that it is a great weekend.who is coming??..Can anyone tell me the best way to get there if I'm coming down the pacific highway from port macquarie..i assume i will turn off at newcastle for Singleton ??is this the best way ??
or should i go inland through tamworth ??
ps if you are coming be quick to book accomadation as it is filling up fast...let me know if you can't find any ..i may be able to help out..

Sure wish I could Tom, though I have sublitted a couple of poems.

Tom, come down to Maitland then head for Branxton and Mt. Thorley, then head for for Denman and then turn to the west. Then you'll have the sun in your eyes to Merriwa and Cassilis, then turn left into more sun and follow your nose to Dunedoo. You can't miss it, it's nearly all on the left hand side of the street.
If you get to Elong Elong you've gone too far.

I'll be there on the Friday night for dinner and the yarns at the Golf club, Tom. The golfy has a good chinese restaurant, don't get frightened if you hear an almighty row coming from the kitchen, that's normal, but the tucker's good.
I have accommodation arranged with Barry Evans, you are probably booked into Judy Bowman's place, it's a good camp, stayed there once or twice years ago.
I've only missed one or two of the Dunedoo turnouts. It's always been a great attraction with visitors from all over.
