Please don't post results unless you're an
organiser.
All results need confirmation before publishing
on the RESULTS page ...
(sorry Robyn - Zondrae will explain) ...

Yes I know it's hard sometimes to contain ones-self but there have been errors in the past that have created a bit of embarrassment. So, after a comp it's best to wait on the Stewards to announce that, "The weight is right!"

A reasonable request Manfred.
Which reminds me, has anyone posted the results of the Gulgong bush poetry comp?
I know that a couple of our friends did well in it but I have been holding off for the official result to be posted, but haven't seen anything.
Which takes me to my next beef, to get me into trouble. But I get the impression that many organisers are very slow to publicise the results. Fair's fair, if they want to use our network to publicise and seek entrants then I think it is only fair that our network should be kept up to date on results. It doesn't always happen I fear.
I think that the ABPA executive should try and persuade organisers who advertise through the ABPA web site, to include in the entry forms 1. a date when results will be announced and 2. a date on which results will be publicly posted for ABPA members, and try and get them to stick to it.

It's very hard to concentrate here with Naville's Typo sticking out like a sore thumb!!!!

I contacted the organisers of the Gullgong festival a week or so back, Nivolle, about results for the magazine. They said they would be most happy to supply them, I didn't even think of the Web Site here. Still haven't heard back yet, but your comment is an excellent one Noveele.

Oh if only
there was a central register with every comp, including dates for closing, announcing winners etc,
it would make the organisers of comps life much easier.
