GOSFORD BUSH POETS
The Gosford Bush Poets meet at 7pm tomorrow night (28/11) at their fabled HQs, the everwelcoming Gosford Hotel, Mann Street Gosford, to celebrate their last meeting for 2012 and to welcome in the more than looming festive season!
It is going to be a grand night of extraordinary fun, friendship and fine poetry to end the GBPs year and we would dearly love to see you and your friends, acquaintances, neighbours, relatives and even spouses come along and help us celebrate the end of what has been an extraordinary year. There will be poems, yarns, verse, songs and very tasty enjoyable and delectable fare to share. (At least I hope there will be 'cause we haven't done the shopping yet!)
Love to see you join us in the hotel's brilliant bistro for dinner (the tucker is the best in Gosford) from about 5.30pm onwards before the fun starts upstairs in the conference room at 7pm.
Entrance is entirely free and everyone is more than welcome to come along and share their own or their favourite poetry with us.
For further information contact me on 0425252212.
Very Best Regards,
Vic Jefferies
PS If anybody out there has the slightest idea as to where this year has gone could they contact me and give me a clue! Has decimalisation got anything to do with it or is it true that the older you get the faster the time goes? If that is the case I'll be a hundred and three before I get to eighty! Perhaps global warming is affecting our perception of time. If next year goes as fast as this one I intend to call for a recount and or a referendum!
