MORE ABOUT THE WA CHAMPIONSHIPS
This Festival will be held over three days (1st to the 3rd of November) at Toodyay which is situated in the hills 85 klms from Perth. The event hasn’t been held for a number of years but it will now become an annual event and will have Performance, writing & Yarnspinning competitions, as well as a range of entertainment besides the competitions. We will also have at least one top Eastern States performing Artist – this year Bill Kearns is our guest and he will be joining a number of very well credentialed WA performers. We are confident the Festival will grow over time similar to the one at Boyup Brook.
We would greatly appreciate it if as many of our friends around Australia can help us by supporting this event by entering the written comp. We would also of course welcome anyone who would like to enter the other various competitions associated with our festival. Should anyone be visiting the West at this time please come along and make yourselves known, I can assure you that you will be given a warm welcome.
The full list of events can be seen on the Website http://www.wabushpoets.asn.au
