Cancellation of 2016 FNQ Walkamin Written Bush Poetry Award

Hi All
I have just had advice from Kay Kiely, organiser of the annual FNQ Walkamin Written Bush Poetry Award, to say that this year's award has been cancelled. This competition is not an official ABPA event, but I know some of you regularly enter.
Kay has always worked tirelessly in the cause of bush poetry and she said it "broke her heart" to have to cancel this year's competition. She is hopeful of drumming up the necessary support to re-launch it in the future.
