Well folks here is you opportunity to spread the Bush Poetry word

Australia day what a perfect day to share our poetry with our fellow Aussies.

Contact your local council and get involved I have a full day of performances in three shires and it is worth the drive around to get the message out there.

In Singleton every Australia Day, the local council puts on a breakfast and the Australia Day ceremony. Each year in the ceremony, one of our bush poets used to recite a poem until the council organisers deleted that from the program. That's the message in our neck of the woods.

Good on you Bob.
I'm back from Tamworth the 23rd and have a large group(52 vans) show booked Australia Day. A show I've been doing the past 3 years-they even supply a mic for me. A big week coming up and looking forward to it.

The boss has said that I can do a campfire in the early evening as well so gonna be sober till the last .
