which sparrow was that Heather? Captain Jack Sparrow? he common everyday garden type sparrow? The one that is warm and covered in bull **it? Please explain.

Hey, what do the southern Queenslanders feel about the northerners? Or is it the other way round in your case, Bob? It's a big state. I'm told Melbourne is closer to Brisbane than Cairns is.

We tolerate them Stephen - making allowances for the fact that at least once a year they go Troppo - and become really strange.
Just kidding, lived in Townsville myself once and definitely went Troppo regularly - Townsville is a nice place if you can overlook the box jelly fish each year.
