memories; Paper delivery? We don't even get a postal delivery!

I haven't seen a paper boy or girl since we lived in Melbourne, we pick ours up fro IGA.

Great vision of you chatting to the tree, Stephen, first thing in the morning.
Dressing gown to the ankles, frosty, crackling blade beneath the feet and the night cap dangling on the head catching the dew-drop off the nose! :lol: :lol:

I too used to sleep in Dave but I worked with a guy in the car dealership who told me too many people waste daylight. Nighttime is for sleeping and daylight is for doing things. Thats the world according to Bill.

My mind is at it's peak and you go off to work feeling like you've achieved something already. The birdsounds even in the city are soothing and when I get really motivated and go for a walk on the beach i have it all to myself.

Bout time for an update on that shed you were building while I think of it.

Paradise.

Worddancer (Moya? Moira?) - you were going well until you mentioned the 'crackling blade beneath the feet' and the 'night-cap dangling on the head'.

The blade sounds a bit surreal. All I can think is that I wouldn't want to trip over!

Not sure how the night-cap catches the dew-drop from the nose (and yes, you're right, it is dew!) unless gravity is working in reverse - or the night-cap has a pom-pom on a very long string that lies against my chest, perhaps.

The closest I have to a night-cap is the balaclava I wear when skiing - which earned me the nick-name 'Captain Nemo'. Can't understand why.

Now that you mention it, I do have faint memories of wearing a night-cap for a while in my teens - a navy blue night-cap to match my body shirt - but that was a long time ago, and even now I'm not sure I'm not just imagining it.

The body shirt was great, I thought - for about six months. Then I decided it was naff, and reverted to PJs. I've been a PJ man ever since. The kids think I look a bit odd, with my trousers pulled up high over my fully buttoned top. Can't understand why. Only way to travel. (Too much information...?)

Still troubled by that scalpel blade beneath my feet...

Obviously too subtle or too early in the morning :roll: ;
Frozen, frost covered blades of grass!
