A really nice poem and quite uplifting, especially for those who have had a chilly winter.

Great little poem, Heather . . . love all the birds, and spring (and Winnie the Pooh, Dave) though sorry to hear 'the thrush is back'.

Cheers, Marty

I read Heather's lovely poem, and all the nice comments (including Winnie the Pooh) and thought - spring is in the air, everything is nice and uplifting and then ...... along comes Marty x 2.

Bob, go back a page before Winnie the Pooh. You had your honourable mention there!

Lovely sunny day here today but I noticed as I drove past the Allens factory this arvo -they have a thermometer on the highway - that it was only 10 degrees at about 4pm. Last night was positively freezing. Would be good walking weather.

And for the Martys, here is the Grey shrike thrush. A beautiful bird with several delightful calls. Last year they were nesting in one of our sheds. Love 'em!
