Spot on Marty the problem is when one starts taking a share before the bet is finalised.
Trust is a wonderful thing.

I do not think you are a cynic Marty you just tell it like it is and a few more people should do just that.
The truth only hurts once and although resentment might linger at least you know where you stand.
The games people play ????

Totally agree with that comment Bob - it is the games people play that cause the hurt

- if people could be open and honest especially in relationships that fail or are failing there would be a lot less screwed up people in this world.
But we try to be 'nice' and mouth off about 'not wanting to hurt their feelings' - which is absolute bulldust because there is nothing nice about a relationship that has gone wrong - but enough, enough don't worry be happy. We can't change the past it is gone but ahead there is a brand new day and it is beautiful.
Cheers
Maureen

I am sure you have heard the saying "I know enough to be dangerous!"
I did have "What you said is so, so true" to bring up the syllable count but "oh" is much better.
It was bright and sunny this morning when I wrote that and now it is grey and overcast. Guess that is Spring.
Thanks Neville.

Beat you Bob - na na nananaaaa

yesterday 29 and today tipped to go over 30 but the mornings still a bit cool at 8. I actually got sunburnt yesterday whilst mowing

not quite to this colour though, just a maidenly blush on my delicate soft fair skin

Well our snow is just starting to thaw and after we dig the cars out we will be able to drive somewhere with the correct ice tyres. (Slap, slap...wake up!)
Actually it is heading for mid 20s today and although it is chilly overnight the past few days have been glorious. The trees are in blossom and spring is here without a doubt. A very special time of the year.
