A little Nip of scotch

Had a family wedding at this little country bed and breakfast. A great stopping place if travelling past Coonabarabran

A Little Nip of Scotch.

If you ever have the chance to roam,
Up north to Siding Springs.
That's where they look at galaxy's,
and stars, and other things.
There's a little plot along the way,
That beckons you to stop.
right on the Newell Highway,
and not far from the shop.

It's owned by Jock (Mac) Keen,
and his lovely partner Kay.
They're are there to offer comfort,
To those who love the smell of hay.
The greetings that they offer,
by far, outweigh the costs.
A little touch of Scottish humor,
to those who think they're lost.

The place is called Camkeena,
Just twelve miles south of town.
It offers bed and breakfast,
and the well loved old bush sound.
Of the early morning laughter,
When the Kookaburra's sing.
And the wild fowl do their calling,
and make the echo's ring.

So next you travel Coona way,
drop in and have a chat.
They're always there to greet you,
and they'll even tip their hat.
Stay a while and share some,
good old Aussie hospitality.
share a yarn about your life,
whilst you sample scones and tea.

One to stick in the memory bank if I'm ever down that way.

A beauty thanks I reckon they would be chuffed.

The purpose in life is to have fun.
After you grasp that everything else seems insignificant !!!
