And don't tell Glenny, but I have tried to open other people's cars in the shopping car
park with my car's remote control ( well they were the same colour and model )

Neville I've done that too. I usually try to get a cleaner one but it hasn't worked so far!

Heather and Glenny,
and everyone else to. I have used my car 'button' to help me find the car in one of those enormous shopping centre car parks. I had been walking round for about 15 minutes trying to find where I had left it. Then I remembered the 'alarm' button on the remote. I pressed it and the alarm sounded.. I was only two rows out and not far away really. So I pressed it again to stop the noise and strolled to the car. I thought it was a great idea. Next time I will write down the cross reference (eg K5) that they kindly put on the posts.

The other day I parked my car in a spot where I could just drive out forwards. Did my shopping and came out to find "my" car reverse parked - not the way I left it at all! Of course, my similarly dusty green car was about 3 spots further up. Fortunately I figured out the rego wasn't mine before I went to see why it had reversed itself!
