The ugly face of Islam

Post by noelcauser » Mon Dec 19, 2011 8:38 am

I watched a video clip from the internet recently of a girl being torured by her parents in the name of Islam. It disturbed me greatly. This poem is not about spreading hate but a wake up call to those who are exspousing Shirah law in this country.

The ugly Face of Islam.

A voice cries out in terror
it's that of a teenage girl.
Not yet old enough to understand,
why her tortured mind is in a whirl.
Plea's for forgiveness go unanswered,
and her cries are all in vain.
Her pleading calls to “Allah”,
disperse like water down a drain.

Shame upon her family name,
for her actions has no bounds.
Her brothers help to dig the hole,
like a pact of hungry hounds.
Stripped of clothes she's buried,
just her head is left for show.
Its another honour killing,
that the west has come to know.

Let those who have on sin,”Christ said,
cast forth the first stone.
Our Christian bible has no meaning,
when the child that sins, your own.
You've bought shame upon the family name,
and for this the Islamic laws apply.
Death by stoning, the retribution,
In the name of “Allah” you must die.

In the crowd with stones in hand,
are the men that raped this child.
There to cast the stones of hate,
upon this girl that they defiled.
“Allah is Great”, “Allah is Great”,
is the chant that haunts this place.
Family honour is the winner,
for this terrible disgrace.

These are the race of people,
that we now welcome to our shore.
For speaking out our mind today,
we're branded racist or infidels for sure.
Is this God that they call “Great”,
the same one us Christians love.
Or a God that sponsors “Holy Wars,”
with no sign of any peaceful dove.

Good on you Noel - I don't get that version of ' Islamic christianity' either I have to say . Murder is what it is.

There is, and always has been, so much damage done in the name of religion or somebody's "God". Is it religion though, or those people who have their own warped views of it and try to force it on others? Guns don't kill, people kill. We are very fortunate to have the freedoms that we do in this country.

I was a little aprehensive about posting this so thanks for the support.Iknow that animals will sometimes kill a runt out of the litter. but surely humans don't have to stoop that low to take the life of their own children in the name of some fanactical belief. How in good faith can we accept a race of people like that. Even moderate Muslims want speak up to condem the practice.

There are a lot of serious questions about people's capacity for evil and the motives that they claim as justification.

But these thoughts still haunt me ; will wrongs never be righted, will justice never prevail, will those who kill, steal and destroy, never be brought to account.
Are we just meaningless organisms that come from nothing and end up as nothing.

If the answer to these is yes, then we can only despair, accept any behaviour that we see and do nothing or have nothing to say because justice in the end is only imaginary, an illusion, it doesn't matter.

Chin up Nev old mate. We all feel this way at times. And then some tiny expression of human kindness casts a welcome light on our shadowed souls. Best I can suggest is to give yourself some of that kindness...micro gifts, like taking 10 minutes to revisit a happy place...somewhere/thing that you enjoy just for you . Accept that you do indeed deserve it, & watch out for 'analysis paralysis.'
I've had a cow of a day/week so I may not be making much sense. I'll try better when the cells have refurbished. You're a bonza bloke.

Cheeeeeers

Wasn't that long ago some of the local religions railed against the evils of alcohol. I think there are many throughout the World that still do. The Bible records ONE death attributed to alcohol, yet countless MILLIONS have perished due to WATER!!! And that's ALSO in the Bible!!

How many lives were lost due to Noah's flood? More than ONE!!
(And talk about 'boat people', I'll bet he never landed on Christmas Island)

And then there's Pharaoh's troops swallowed up in the Red Sea ...

Water is evil ...

I say, "WATER IS EVIL!!!!"

Can I get an AMEN??

Water is evil! DRINK MORE BOOZE .... (it's healthier and you'll liver longer!!))

HALLELUJAH ... :D
