Where XXXX = Beer
AUSTRALIAN CALL SIGNS – WHERE XXXX = BEER
Alpha was the gun shearer and
Bravo Bazza was his mate,
Charlie was the rousty who thought
Delta Goodrem great.
Echo!!! Oooh the echo of the music was so loud, as he would
Foxtrot round the shearing shed to loud baaaas from the crowd.
Golf was just an evening sport, with cane toads for the ball - played at the local
Hotel – ten points if you hit the wall.
India was the barman’s daughter, tall and blonde and cute.
Juliet the bar maid who wore jeans and RM boots.
Kilo the killer kelpie - he lay sleeping on the floor.
Lima beans are fart food – we don’t eat them anymore.
Mike Taylor is the copper – he’s that big bloke at the bar
November every year he goes with
Oscar and
Papa back to
Quebec. Rumour has it he is quite a
Romeo. Rides a big horse called
Sierra – thinks he’s Clancy, don’t you know.
Tango Taylor the girls call him – he wears his
Uniform pants low. His off-sider and mate
Victor’s a bloody so and so. He likes a drop of
Whisky. Claims XXXX gives him good health,
Xrays taken every year make inroads on his wealth. A
Yankee Marlborough man he is – and has been one for years.
Zulu – Hooroo I'm shooting through, now please mates don't shed tears
I'll catch up with you later.......... Exits left and disappears.
