PROGNOSTIC ATION

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Wed Jun 20, 2012 9:04 am

Prognostic ation

I’m out of inspiration and sit in desperation
praying for salvation
but nothing seems to come.

I paint, take photos, ponder. Today there is no wonder,
all things I set asunder
I start a dreary tome.

There’s coffee for hydration as the news of the nation
is revealed in a summation
upon my TV screen.

And more folks for integration with this land their destination,
seems are fired with inspiration
to make Australia home.

Would a little extra money perhaps sweeten my life honey?
Repayments of loan not funny,
won’t tickle my funny bone.

So perhaps my frustration will be of short gestation.
No need of medication
just a little more caffeine.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.

Well you found enough inspiration to do that one Maureen, I'm still suffering procrastination.
