Morisset Fest 2012

Post by Neville Briggs » Sun Aug 26, 2012 5:22 pm

I see that the Hunter Bush Poetry Fest at Morisset is on the 19th-21st of October 2012, if anyone is interested. I don't see it mentioned on this site but you can view the details on the Hunter Bush Poets website.

Thanks for the reminder Neville,

However this is the same weekend as the Kangaroo Valley Festival in which I am involved. I have performed at every Kangaroo Valley Festival since it began so I don't want to miss this one. There are two poets breakfasts as well as a poetry competition held over the weekend of the festival. The poetry competition is written and also is fee free and entries taken by email. Check out their website for details. They have lovely trophies.

It was so good last year Neville, well worth thinking about people. Unfortunately I won't be able to attend thia year
Ron and I have taken on the management of the caravan park where I"ve worked for the past few years, so busy packing house at the moment. Takeover date is 6th October, so busy times ahead and sadly a lot of poetry functions will be missed, but the new venture is exciting and who knows, maybe we'll be able to start up some poetry nights in the park. Exciting times ahead.

Cheers
Sue
