Kayaks are so yesterday.
Flyaks are the only way
To move through waters broad and flat.
Paddling flyaks' where it's at.

Spare me all that plodding toil.
Let me climb upon a foil,
One at front, and one at back,
And watch the smoke spume from my stack!

Spare me all the push and shove.
Much more fun to rise above
The water's surface. See clear air
Beneath me when I'm 'on the tear'.

What's my speed, then? Double? Thrice
That of a 'normal' kayak? Nice.
Might as well be borne on wings -
The spoils that innovation brings!

Used to be just motor craft
Were fitted with this gear. How daft!
Then it spread to boats with sails.
This is better. Still, it fails

To blow the unsuspecting mind
The way that flyaks do. You'll find
It quite a challenge to believe
That paddles (nothing up the sleeve...)

Can generate sufficient speed
To make it work, but take no heed
Of knockers, doubters, all aloof.
