This is an Inaugural Event in honour of our celebrated local Bush Poet, and good mate ‘Croc’. We will be launching Croc’s highly entertaining book, ‘The World According To Croc’ at the event. This shindig is essentially a gathering of invited friends & poet mates, coming to Theodore from across Australia, to celebrate Croc’s life & to say our farewells, as sadly, he is terminally ill. There will be no formal public Performance Competition for this first year, but we ask all poets to… please support the written competition… to help fund the project and get it ‘on its way’. We are hoping it will develop into a popular yearly attraction for our lovely Theodore township, & one that the poets can feel ‘ownership’ of, through having helped to establish it.
Many thanks
Glenny Palmer (former Australian Champion Bush Poet)
