NOW SUMMERS GONE
NOW SUMMERS GONE
Summers gone, winter approaches,
mornings now are cold and crisp.
Dew lies heavy on the grass
and sun comes late. Merely a whisp
of mist still lingers
trapped in hillside valleys deep
hidden from wan sunlight fingers.
Summers gone.

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.

Yes Mr Grace
sorry Nev but I was a big fan of Are You Being Served and that sounded like it was straight off the series.

Don't worry about Mr Grace or Captain Peacock, Bob,
have a good look at Maureen's little poem here, it is a gem. That's what you can achieve if you practice Haikus. I think

I enjoyed the poem Maureen but I'm a shorts and shirter, ( careful how you read that - it's 'rt') so roll on next summer.
