Wow! So many apostrophes!

But why the apostrophe between 'Flander' and 's'?

I love the 'emerging' poet idea. What do they emerge from? Some big leaf down at the bottom of the garden, perhaps? Or just the primordial sludge of youth?

This would be a good poem to send to NSW School Magazine. I think it would work well for Grades 5/6; they would pay you for it, it would be printed about 10,000 times (I think that's about their print run - might be a bit less these days), it would be illustrated in full colour, and they wouldn't care that it had been posted on the internet.

Stephen' my mistake - it should be Flanders'. (Don't ya hate being a tall poppy! ) I probably did it late at night without enough coffee. Fixed and thanks. :)

13 apostrophes in fact' and all for the s'ame reason. Prize to the one who knows why!

I've probably' over 'semi-coloned (it is an early effort) -I 'tend to do' that but I'm work'ing on' it

Stephen, oh Stephen! 22 is my lucky number - brother born on the 22nd, sister born on the 22nd, son born on the 22nd, daughter born on the 22nd, grandfather died on the 22nd (OK, not so lucky for him), other daughter missed out by one day (spoil sport - not a team player) and the daughter who likes to be different - you guessed it, born on the 11th (that's half of 22 by the way)

13 apostrophes all used in the same way
