STRAWBERRY DEEE’LITE

She’s a beauty, what a bottler that's a bloody little ripper.
Can't believe you want to sell her. This lovely t350 tipper.
She's a corker, Bobby dazzler. A really nice piece of crumpet.
My mates will be green with envy... they can suck it up and lump it.

Does she work hard, does she haul good? She's so neat, tidy and clean.
She's in good nick, really looks shmik, and she sure has shine and gleam.
Yeah I reckon' I've got interest. She's like strawberries and cream,
and her paintworks smooth and silky . She’s the answer to a dream.

Just one minute don't lets rush things, can I take her for a ride?
Need to see this old girl travel. Need to check her out inside.
Will she deliver what’s promised? I must say she does inspire
love within me. I'm in love mate, think I've found my heart’s desire.

We're a rockin' and a rolling', music blaring, pistons pumping.
Kicking dust up as we're travelling, and the rig is really jumping.
Get the chequebook, write the numbers, yea I'll take her home tonight.
I will tame her, then I'll name her, she's my Strawberry Deee’lite.

Bright red paintwork, yellow leather, shiny chrome and smoking stack.
Air conditioning, stereo speakers, lots of comfort on the track.
CB chatter over airways...yea receiving loud and clear.

A good description Maureen I had a good mate Wally Easlesham who owned Rockys Own Transport. He said if he wanted to punish a driver he would take their truck off them for a day and some were moved to tears.

Without our truckies we would have to maintain the railways. Trains are much nicer they don't drive centimetres away from your rear number plate.

but the railways don't go everywhere Neville do they? They are just pick up points - its the trucks that ship the cattle to the railhead, the sheep to the saleyards, the wool to the docks, your tucker to the city. The bloody railways only go from A to B to C and oft times don't even do that too efficiently.

Our railway system could have been very useful Maureen, it just didn't have wealthy owners who could fund political parties.
