G'day Neville,
You are hiding your light under a bushel. (Is that how the saying goes???) In any case the drawings are very artful. I can't think of the exact word I want - nice is too small beautiful is a bit too gushey. ?? In any case they are great sketches of significant landmarks. I'm trying to say I like them and admire your skill.
You might get a rush of people asking for illustrations. You never can tell.

Wasn't that Ben Chifley with the light on the hill.

Sorry Zondrae, you're too young to know that.
Thanks for the comments Zondrae. Very kind. Actually I need to get going on some po'ing these days, not much light under the bushell or out of it , at the moment, in that department.

Ben Chifley used to pay his own tram and train fare ( he had the PM gold pass ) and seldom claimed ministerial allowances. Will we ever see that again Matt.

........no

Thanks Stephen, Heather.
You might be pleased to know Stephen, that after my trip to Tasmania I was so impressed by the landscape I was ready to throw myself under the bulldozers and chain myself to the nearest huon pine to save something.

Neville, just a thought. A lot of poets who publish their books are forever looking for illustrators and sketch artists. With the absurd price some of them charge (and sometimes for shabby work) have you ever thought to advertise your services? Even for a nominal fee? I would be more than happy to help you out with an article in the ABPA Magazine. Give it some thought, but I reckon you cold find yourself in demand.
Cheers
Neil

Thanks Neil for the generous offer and comment. I'll have to think about it.
What's the matter with you Maureen
