This is a very interesting poem, isn't it. It went in a direction I was not expecting at all - I guess that is the test of a great poem. 'Horse' poems run the risk of sounding cliched - especially in the hands of a 'bush poet' - but my suspicion is that Kym has the depth of knowledge, sensitivity and experience to make 'horse poems' quite fascinating, even to a 'non-horse' person like myself.

Remember reading that some time ago, it gave me a whole new appreciation on horse poems.
Like everyone else I'm looking forward to receiving my copy of Kym's Book.
