Not sure where your mind is at Missy - but the last few poems you have posted have been exceptionally beautiful IMo and somewhat of a spiritual/mystic bent. I really like them. So good to see you delving the depths again

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.

Yes, delving into the depths a bit Maureen. Just when I thought I had nothing else to say I have become very talkative haven't I? Rest assured the mind is in a good place.

Thanks Maureen,

Heather :)

Good on ya Heather. Pity you chose not to identify your late friend.

Keep talking, Heather, there's always more worth saying. Interesting/unusual structure with this one...just the way it came?

Often a line or partial line comes from who knows where, and frustratingly, it's often a line that suits the middle or end of a poem and I have to find the rest to wrap around it. I guess it does originate with whatever comes. Then comes the hard work.

David it's a structure I've been using a bit lately (rhymes in the 2nd/5th and 3rd/6th) - I've just used a different metre and arranged it differently this time. I suppose I could have waffled on some more but it seemed to say it all and breaking the structure fitted with a life and plans being interrupted. Experimenting is fun. :)
