Homework 9.3.15 CYCLONE MARCIA - RAIN RAIN GO AWAY

Post by Cropduster » Wed Feb 25, 2015 4:54 am

CYCLONE MARCIA
RAIN RAIN GO AWAY

Circle the wagons and batten the hatches
You're in for one Hell of a ride
Collect all the candles, the lanterns, the matches
Looks like there's nowhere to hide
Outside the world wages war at our windows
Neighbours all gather in fear
Ever so stronger the cyclonic wind blows
Mothers hold their children near
Away with you, storm clouds, you're not welcome here
Rain rain, go away
Come again another day
Is what I hear the children say
And with that a rainbow appears.

  Bob

I does look a bit like that. When I got to the R the first obvious word was rain, and it just took off from there.

Good one Allan. I love "world wages war at our windows" - beautiful alliteration!!
