HOMEWORK PROMPTS FOR WEEK ENDING 15/6/15

Post by Maureen K Clifford » Mon Jun 01, 2015 12:52 pm

Well there were some interesting takes on the use of the last prompt - Poetic minds are very fertile and tendrils sprout and take off in many different directions some quite unexpected. Well done everybody who participated.

Here's the next fortnights prompts for you - a bit topical since I believe they are having snow in Tasmania whilst here in Queensland we are still having a heat wave. Crazy weather. Lets swee what you can do with these my poetic friends.

Arctic sun

Sudden chill

Blue frost

Bitten flesh

Frozen tongue

Iron nail

This fortnight the plaque goes to Owly - who has been absent for a long time and we have missed her, so this is a welcome back and also because I liked the humour in her poem about a Lead footed Mama

I may not always succeed in making a difference, but I will go to my grave knowing I at least tried.
