When does it become a crime to not remove children (regardless of their colour or ethnicity) from surroundings and circumstances that clearly threaten their health and their very existence?
How do you ignore the plight of ill treated, helpless babies and children?
How do you stand by and watch kids with noses that have never been wiped, with scabs and weeping sores and flies crawling in and out their nostrils, eyes and ears?
What do you do about children and babies left lying in unspeakable filth with drunken drug crazed "parents"more interested in bashing each other and where their next hit or fix is coming from then caring for their child(ren)?
Happens in all cultures but the "Goodies" prefer to say that family ties are more important. Don't think so!
Sad thing is if the kids do manage to survive and a lot don't, they usually go onto replicate their parents way of life with their own kids.
Little Johnny Howard drew the line in the sand and said enough was enough but the "Goodies" have watered down the intervention and more kids will suffer and die to salve their (The Goodies) philosophical view point.

Thanks Vic, I realise we have sort of hijacked Dave's thread here, but the way I read his replies we are all on the same side, have spent over 20 years working amongst these people and I do get a bit cranky when I hear and read the one sided reports and uniformed opinions, I just wish people would refrain from comment until they have all the facts....and by the way, I don't reckon "Little Johnny" was or is that little either!

Re: Gone
Mankind's history of his treatment of his own kind is a rather sad read.
