homework we 3rd April

Post by Wendy Seddon » Thu Mar 23, 2017 7:39 pm

All the heavy lifting nearly did my poor Frank in!
I thought his little heart would burst.
I thought indeed that he'd 'go' first.
I thought our little plan was cursed!

Sitting for a well earned break, he gave a little grin.
I love the fam'ly ties that bind.
I love the fact that he is kind.
I love his body not his mind.

Dinner's with the Swifts tonight, I think we're dining in.
We get to see their new abode.
It's just a mile up the road.
A scented candle overload!

Empty nesters all of us, we've ditched our junior kin.
The Swifts new nest - a Rose wine cask.       (No acute)
It's warm and dry that's all they ask.
I only hope it meets the task!

I cleared our old stuff, sorted it or chucked it in the bin!
Our new nest too is in a box.
With photos of a man in jocks.
Our condom-inium just rocks!

Might get a B and D roll a door too.
