Dave it might shock you to know that I have two pet rabbits (well, my daughters do but you know who gets to feed them don't you?) But they are caged, friendly and cuddly. I don't see the vermin, pesky rabbits as the same. We also kill our own beef. Once it's dead it is just meat. (Don't name the boys and put the others in the back paddock so they don't see or smell when the deed is done).

Besides Dave, I don't think Greenies would like rabbits either because they are feral animals and a pest.

Heather :)

G/Day again Heather I am just being a bit tongue in cheek here, :P we did kill our own meat for a number of years and as a young bloke my mate and I run a trap line of about 80/100 traps and sold to the freezer works, one of my granddaughters has pet rabbits in a pen, she goes a bit crook when I call them Dinner and Tea.

Yes Dave I reckon she would - you blokes don't always pick nice names...my ex called one of our old wethers Bones, reckons there wasn't a stew in him, only good for soup..
