Just taking the opportunity to wish all a Merry Christmas and to thank you for participating in the challenges set over the past year on this segment of the forum. I have to say the work has been outstanding IMO and many have also been able to snap up some competition gongs as a result of these homework exercises, and that in itself is most satisfying to hear.
I wish each and every one of you along with your families and furbies, a joyous Christmas filled with love and laughter. Travel safe, have fun and if you are at a loose end over the break then set your mind onto puzzling over these and see what you can come up with.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL ......Cheers, Maureen
the lowing of cattle came
a jingling quart pot
decked in cream and crimson
keep a watch from your home
they turn their faces to the west
the sale of liquor was banned
